Orgasol® Industrial: a high performance additive

Orgasol® is an ultrafine polyamide powder used as additive in coatings, paints, inks and overprint varnishes (OPV), in composite and inkjet papers, as well as a key material for laser sintering.

Arkema offers a wide range of Orgasol®, thermoplastic microsphere powders, based on polymers of lauryllactam and/or caprolactam.

Orgasol® powders based on PA6 are less hydrophobic and have a higher melting point than Orgasol® powders based on PA12.

Orgasol powders are produced in a patented direct polymerisation process which can be controlled to produce powders of specific particle size, surface area and melting point.
